Hermes Agent
Use FeedHive's CLI or REST API from a configured Hermes workflow to plan and manage social content.
Choose a connection method
- If Hermes can run terminal commands: use the FeedHive CLI in that environment.
- If you build Hermes tools: call the public REST API from your own adapter.
- Without a tool or adapter: draft with Hermes, then bring the copy into FeedHive yourself. A chat prompt alone does not connect accounts.
Set up a CLI workflow
- Create a FeedHive API key for the account or workspace you intend to use. Store it privately as
FEEDHIVE_API_KEYin the environment where the CLI runs, not in your prompt. - Confirm that Hermes has permission to run commands in that environment. Run
npx @feedhive/cli socials listto verify it can see your connected accounts. - Ask Hermes to create a draft you can inspect, then verify it in FeedHive. Ask for confirmation before scheduling or publishing; do not let an agent silently choose accounts or times.
For the exact commands and post body format, see CLI and Posts.
