Dots

Use a dot to turn your brief into draft social copy, then manage the draft and schedule in FeedHive. The agent needs a configured tool before it can call FeedHive on your behalf.

From a dot to a post

1. Brief the dot on the audience, platform, tone, and desired outcome. Have it prepare a draft for review.
2. For a manual handoff, copy the approved draft into FeedHive and set the social account and schedule there.
3. If your Dots environment supports custom external tools, connect a private tool to the FeedHive REST API. Test a read-only call, use the Posts API to create a draft, and confirm the returned post in FeedHive before doing anything else.

Keep your FeedHive API key in the tool's private credential settings, not in a dot's instructions or chat.
